The AFRICOM commander addressed the situation in Niger, where violent extremist groups continue to operate. He commended Niger's efforts to combat these groups but acknowledged that more support is needed from international partners. Langley emphasized the importance of assisting Niger with intelligence, surveillance, and equipment.

"Niger is a vital partner in the fight against terrorism, and we must continue to support their efforts," Langley stated.
